The Nittany Lion, an Illustrated Tale, written by Penn State Archivist Jackie R. Esposito and Education Librarian Steven L. Herb, with a forward by Joe and Sue Paterno, is a full-length recounting of the history and myths surrounding Penn State's beloved mascot, the Nittany Lion. Its call number is GV691.P4E76 1997, and it is located in Paterno Library, 3rd floor, with a non-circulating Reference copy also housed in the Pennsylvania Center for the Book, off the Paterno Reading Room, 2nd Floor Central Pattee.
