Nittany Lion - Original
The permanent Nittany Lion exhibit is located in the Pattee Library Main Entrance Lobby. The restored lion is installed in a museum-quality diorama, with foreground designed by John E. Schreffler, former chief curator and exhibitor for the William Penn Museum, and background painted by museum artists Elma and Jerome Connolly of Arts Etc. The permanent exhibit was funded by private donations.
