The Fletcher L. Byrom Earth and Mineral Sciences Library (website) is located in 105 Deike Building. Its collection includes reference and circulating materials, current and bound periodicals, and electronic resources that support the various curricula of Penn State's College of Earth and Mineral Sciences. Subject coverage includes Energy & Geo-Environmental Engineering; Energy, Environmental & Mineral Economics; Geography; Geosciences; Materials Science & Engineering; and Meteorology.

The EMS Library is the home of art works depicting scenes of mining, steel, and related industries (mostly in Pennsylvania), as well as sculptures created by John Farnham and John Neidhart.

A technology classroom that accommodates 16 students is located in 114 Deike Building, within the EMS library. Details and scheduling information.
