Duplication/Photocopy Services
All University Park subject and branch libraries, except News and Microforms, Physical and Mathimatical Sciences and the Architecture & Landscape Architecture Libraries, offer the following staff-assisted overnight duplication services to patrons on a bill-back basis:
- Microfilm, Microfiche, or Microprint to Paper
- Black/White, up to 8.5 x 11 or 14 inches, $.30/page
- Black/White, 11 x17 inches, $.60/page
- Paper to Paper
- Black/White, up to 8.5 x 14 inches, $.25/page
- Color, up to 8.5 x 14 inches, $1.00/page
In addition, other specialized duplication services are available as follows:
The Preservation Department offers the following services:
- Color Output Printing of Digitized Image
- 46# heavyweight coated paper (42 inches x 100 feet capability), $3/sq.ft
- 46# satin photo paper (42 inches x 100 feet capability), $6.45/sq.ft
- Lamination
- 8-1/2 x 11 inches, $1.25
- Up to 22 inches wide, $2.50/square foot
- Mounting
- 3/16 inch foam core, $2.50/square foot
- Digital Scanning (additional fees that may be applied include $10 for material retrieval)
- Less than 150 dpi image resolution, $2/scan
- Over 150 dpi image resolution, $8/scan
- Blank diskette, $2/ea
- Blank CD, $5/ea
- Whole book scanning (pending copy right clearance), $100/300 pages (Cost for smaller/larger volumes is based on actual cost recovery).
The Special Collections Library offers the following services for Special Collections materials only:
- Audio Dubbing, $17/hour plus $5 blank cassette/CD
- Microfilm and Microfiche to Paper
- 8 1/2 x up to 14 inches, $.50/page + $10 handling
- Paper to Paper
- Black/White, up to 11x 17 inches, $.50/page
- Black/White, larger than 11 x 17 inches, $1.50/page
- Color, up to 11x 17 inches, $1.50/page
- Musical Scores (Fred Waring's America Collection), $15 to $40
- Audio Tapes and CDS (Fred Waring's America Collection), $15
- Photographs, $10 handling, plus commercial reproduction charge
- Permissions (one time only)
- Commercial-use Fee, $200
- Scholarly-Publication Use, $50
- Storage of central files for Penn State offices, in microfilm format, are pro-rated upon actual cost.
