This section of the Digitization and Preservation Department is located in W401 Pattee Library (the Tower) and is responsible for coordinating the technical and production phase of digital projects for the Libraries. This area contains specialized preservation equipment, including a Hewlett-Packard DesignJet color printer capable of handling 42-inch wide paper in rolls up to 100 feet long. The printer is available free of charge to library staff for work-related projects and on a charge basis to customers outside the Libraries. Charges are $3.00 per square-foot for prints on regular paper, $6.45 for special satin-finish photo paper (other media also available). Customers are advised to make advance arrangements for the use of the printer.
