AIMThis is a featured page

AOL® Instant Messenger™ (AIM) is a free online service that lets you communicate in real time. Using the AIM® Buddy List® window, you can see when your buddies are online and chat with them.

The purpose of using AIM in the Libraries is to create a flexible and effective communications system among our many service points/people. Enhancing our communications, which is key to the quality of our services, was recommended by the UP Reference and Consultation Services Council, the attendees at the recent Services Retreat, the subject library heads, and others. Such a communications system will allow us to explore new service delivery patterns, and will inform how we implement the Knowledge Tracker software.

The pages below will provide step by step instructions for using AIM.
